The TTVA is the professional, non-profit body representing the interests of Veterinary Surgeons in Trinidad & Tobago and whose mission is to advance the Veterinary profession.
Maintaining Standards
We aim to establish and maintain high standards of knowledge and skills among our veterinarians, veterinarian assistants and other allied professionals.
Knowledge Sharing
We disseminate current theories, protocols and practices in the science, art and ethics of veterinary medicine, public health, animal welfare and conservation.
Establishing Relations
We promote good relations, mutual understanding & fellowship among members & other persons/organizations connected to veterinary science.

Depending on what type of animal it is, the TTSPCA may be able to assist by intervening on the animal’s behalf. Reports are confidential.
TTPS Enforcement
Trinidad & Tobago Police Service will work to enforce the existing laws for the protection and welfare of animals.
